1 - 4 NOVEMBER STONELEIGH PARK

TMX DIRT BIKE SHOW DIARY JUNE 2011

MAJOR PLAYERS COME OUT TO ... PLAY

With summer holidays on the agenda, November may seem like months away, and it is - four in fact, however, for the organisers and exhibitors planning for the 12th annual International Dirt Bike Show at Stoneleigh, those months are racing by. Plans are well advanced for this year's celebration of all things off-road and so it's over to show organiser Joanne Watson for an early update.

"We're delighted to confirm that we're well ahead of last year in terms of major manufacturer involvement and have a firm commitment from KTM, the UK market leader in the motocross and enduro sectors, together with its racing stable mate Husaberg, which will join forces to again create a substantial exhibit with factory race bikes and quads lining up alongside its vast range of ready-to-race production machines. In addition, the ever-proactive team at Kawasaki UK has pledged its allegiance to the show and is leading the way as the first of the Japanese manufacturers to recognise that, to reach its core target audience, yep, that's you valued readers, then it simply must be a part of the UK's only dedicated off-road show. And, turning to the pride of Britain, CCM enjoyed a successful Dirt Bike Show in 2010, so much so that, despite its setback when hit by theft, as highlighted in last week's T&MX, boss Austin Clews was happy to confirm his company's support for the many fans of the marque that make an annual pilgrimage to the show.

"Over on the trials front, leading brand GasGas will show its latest range of machines and accessories and Montesa has also confirmed its presence at Stoneleigh. We are continuing to hold discussions with the major players in the field of off-road and we'll keep you updated through these pages and on our website at www.dirtbikeshow.co.uk

"When we ask for feedback, we do our utmost to listen and act upon it, and so we have a host of new features and offers in the pipeline which will be announced over the coming months. One major new feature is that of a Twinshock/Evo display in hall three, which will be in place throughout the duration of the four-day show, but which will link through to our first-ever Moto Jumble, open for the weekend only. There's little doubt that there is phenomenal interest in the bikes and stars of the 70s, 80s and 90s and we believe this new feature will prove to be a popular one.

"There are a whole host of other activities planned, including a visitor have-a-go arena, an adult XC event and plenty of free attractions for the kids, which will all serve to make the 2011 International Dirt Bike Show at Stoneleigh Park the place to be for the ever-enthusiastic off-road family this November.

"Puit in your diary now - Thursday 3rd to Sunday 6th November 2011, Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire! We look forward to seeing you there!"
