INTERNATIONAL DIRT BIKE SHOW NEWS – SEPTEMBER 2011

SUZUKI RETURNS TO STONELEIGH
Suzuki GB has confirmed its commitment to the International Dirt Bike Show, the Suzuki off-road dealer network and fans of the marque by taking the inside line back to Europe's largest off-road show after an absence of two years. Whatever the corporate reason for this about-turn, it can only be good for the off-road industry and its end-user customers to have yet another major company showcasing at the International Dirt Bike Show in its own right.

Suzuki joins KTM, Kawasaki, Husqvarna, Husaberg, CCM, GasGas and Montesa, who will all use Stoneleigh Park exhibition as a launch pad for their 2012 model ranges, and it will be interesting to see if others follow the trend back to the dedicated dirt bike exhibition.

WIN A PAIR OF TICKETS
Don't forget our ticket competition is still running, and will continue to do so until 4pm on Friday 30th September 2011.

CLICK HERE or go to CLUB DBS > COMPETITIONS, answer the question - the answer for which will be somewhere on the website - and email your answer.

A winner is selected every day and the question changes frequently. Entries are restricted to one per email address, per day but to increase your chances of winning, you can enter daily.

TRY A BIKE
With the announcement that Suzuki is heading back to Stoneleigh comes the news that the Suzuki Off-Road Experience will be in full swing at the Show. Using Suzuki DR-Z125 and DR-Z70 models, this is where novice riders can get a taste of what it's like to ride in the dirt. This is always a hugely popular activity and visitors are advised to book in early on the day to secure their Experience session.

STAGE CENTRE
The main stage in hall one is the place to find fun and games. Dirt Bike Rider will be putting on the challenge to find the king, or queen, of the console with regular PS3/X-Box play-offs. On the Saturday the DBR team will present its awards and hand over the BW85 dirtZone prize to one very lucky winner.

There's a busy schedule planned for the stage throughout the four-day Show, with championship presentations and technical fashion shows. Well known TV commentator and DBR contributor Jack Burnicle will oversee the stage and is sure to give champions of the past, present and future a good 'grilling'.
