I've been flat out this year with my day job as sales manager for Norton Motorcycles and racing in BSB at the weekends but my wife Rachel and I like a challenge so when we heard that Gonerby Moor was up for grabs, we just had to go for it.
I started riding motocross when I was three and it has always been my passion but, as it turned out, I was better at road riding. I always wanted to have my own track and to have a practice track is even better as everyone gets something out of it whatever their ability.
It feels like I've been here, there and everywhere and so Rachel, as well as looking after our lively toddler, has done the lion's share of organising everything for taking over the track and getting our Dirt Bike Show stand sorted.
We've loads of plans for Gonerby Moor to make it a fun facility for riders and families and have a great show-only offer of a super saver pass offering a whole day's riding from just £10 for adults and £7.50 for youth riders - not bad eh?
