ACU GIVES GREEN LIGHT TO NEW TEAM |
The ACU has agreed a new long term partnership with specialist motorsport insurance broker, Doodson, which promises to benefit the organisation and its members. The partnership - resulting from an extensive review - will commence on 1st January 2012.
The new agreement means better insurance cover for riders, including Personal Accident and Equipment cover, as well as great cover for organisers and promoters associated with the ACU.
In addition to providing all insurance requirements for the ACU, Doodson has continued its theme of reinvesting in the sport, by becoming the title sponsors for the ACU British Trials Championships and the ACU British Enduro Championship.
David Smith, a Director of ACU said: "We have conducted an extensive review of all of our insurance needs over the past six months and believe the move to Doodson from 1st January next year will greatly benefit the ACU, its members, event organisers and competitors in the future."
Neil Clayton of Doodson said: "Becoming the insurance partner for the ACU is great for us. We've put together a long term plan that will deliver value to its clubs, promoters and riders. A combination of the right insurance, risk management and an improved approach to claims handling, will ensure we get a better deal for the ACU for years to come."
